Electromagnetic therapy is used to detect, diagnose and treat a wide range of diseases, wounds and injuries. There are two different types of electromagnetic therapy, Light (Radiation) therapy and magnetic therapy. This therapy produces gentle, low frequency pulses which help to stimulate and restore the cells in the body to a healthy state, and in turn reduce/relieve aches and pains. People all around the world, old and young can be treated for various health conditions including Heart disease, Osteoporosis, Inflammation and Circulation issues etc. using Electromagnetic therapy. The use of electromagnets in medicine is of benefit to society as people suffering from a variety of health issues will have an alternative method of treatment. To understand how electromagnetic pulses interact with biological systems, we must first understand how cells communicate and function.
